Animator Masaru Tochibayashi
My name is Masaru Tochibayashi, call me Tochy.
I was born December 1964 in Kokura, Fukuoka prefecture,
Japan. I grew up in my childhood with seeing an airplane
in the base of the nearby Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
At that time, I liked the jet trainer, T-1.
Fuji is the manufacturer called Nakajima before. My dream
was to want to make such an airplane someday. I drew
a comic as a hobby, and I was playing the guitar in amateur
music band in the junior high school and the high school
age. I and my member named the band "Suppon".
Suppon means a snapping turtle in Japanese. There are
no big meanings, "Suppon" is my website's
title as my far memories.
I entered Kyushu Institute
of Technology (K.I.T). Because I remembered the dream that wanted
to make an airplane. But, I was made to realize that I have no ability
which make an airplane. After that, I act
as a comic writer's assistant and am living till today. I began CG making
in earnest about five years before. I also make some short CG-animations
for TVCM or a Video program from about
two years before. Now, I exhibit an aviation CG animation by my website.
My dream in childhood continues realizing in virtual space.
